I am a UX & designOps leader, a research strategist, and a diversity & learning innovator that believes great experiences are instrumental to our well-being. This applies both to the users of the products and services we design as well as to the individual creatives on the teams who design them.

For 20+ years, I have contributed to and led initiatives in roles ranging from my start as a UI developer to lead user experience designer, strategic researcher, program manager, innovation design manager, learning strategist and founder. I have dedicated myself to leading globally distributed creative teams and to the creation of the positive cultures that allow diverse individuals to flourish. As a leader, I motivate teams to rally around a shared vision by embracing each individual’s strengths and talents, honoring neurodiversity, and mentoring creative thinkers to unlock future pathways. 

With doctoral-level research experience and an intuitive design sense, I can efficiently manage multidisciplinary teams as we partner to bring innovative ideas to life with rapid iterative design and voice of the customer programs. My NVC-approach (nonviolent communication) allows me to deliver carefully crafted messages that inspire teams and encourage open collaboration. My highly sensitive nature helps me to intuit the needs of those in the room, ensuring that messages and presentations are effectively delivered to target audiences ranging from students in the classroom to executives in the boardroom.
